around 1800 years ago mutharyar's are enterd in tamil nadu through sea .and they're called 'sagar kular' which means in sanskrit sagar means sea kular means community .

according to AMIRTHA SAGAR in "yapperungala Viruthiyal", around 10 th century MUTHARAYAR'S are known as KALABHIRA'S 0R KALVARGAL, which means they're master's of all arts.it is highly condem that one of the leading tamil by weekly written very long back that mutharayar's are burgalar's,it's heart breaking and paining that such a reputed magazine without knowing the fact rediculously

the writters are quoating that KALABHRAS peiod was "irunda kalam" is it true ? no,but really it is not like that because the history was hidden and MANUPLATED with some grudge,mailnly most of the writers are belonging to brahmin community ,generally brahmins are occupies & enjoys NEXT TO POWER CENTRE who ever the ruler and enjoying and leading comfartable life but during this period the kings of kallabhras stopped or scuttle all benefits they're enjoying therefore the history of this rulers have been misintrupted.
